Community Hospital Honors Employees for Years of Service


Wytheville, Virginia. -  Wythe County Community Hospital recently recognized Tiep Vo and Kathy Stuart for their years of service at the hospital. Ms. Vo has worked at Wythe County Community Hospital since 1981 and was honored for her 30 years of service to the company. She started her career in the Environmental services department on day shift, and then transferred to evening shift. “This was the first job I had and the only job I’ve had. I love to talk to the patients and their families; that is how I learned to speak English. I love everyone I work with in the hospital,” stated Ms. Vo.

She and her husband, Cang Vo, have two daughters, one granddaughter, five grandsons and three great grandchildren. Her hobbies include watching hummingbirds and cooking. Tiep plans to continue to work at the hospital until retirement.

Also honored was Kathy Stuart for her 20 years of service with the hospital. Ms. Stuart is a member of the Materials Management/Purchasing department. Kathy says, “I love working with my great family and friends.”

She is married to Tony and they have two children, Trish and Steven, and two grandchildren. She graduated from Fort Chiswell High School and has an Associate Degree in Computer Information Systems from Wytheville Community College. Outside of work her interests includes crafts and playing with her grandchildren.
