Wythe County Community Hospital Elects New Board Member


Wytheville, VA –Wythe County Community Hospital is pleased to announce that Kyle N. Rhodes has been elected to serve on the hospital Board of Directors for a three year term.  “On behalf of the Board, Medical Staff and Staff at WCCH, it is a pleasure to announce the addition of Mr. Rhodes to our Board of Trustees.  Mr. Rhodes represents Bland County and will be a welcomed addition to our already talented team of Board members”, stated Tim Bess, Chief Executive Officer of Wythe County Community Hospital.

Mr. Rhodes is the superintendent for Bland County Schools and has served as a professional educator for thirty-four years.  He has served on numerous educational committees and has been a presenter at state and national conferences. He attended Emory and Henry College and received his Bachelor of Arts degree and holds a Master of Science, Educational Leadership from Radford University.  He received his doctorate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2011.

“I am excited about the opportunity to serve and represent the community of Bland County as a member of the Wythe County Community Hospital Board of Directors.  I see my roll as being a member of a team that insures to the delivery of high quality medical services that is cost effective to all citizens” states Mr. Rhodes.

He is married to Debbie Rhodes and they have two children Alex and Zeb.
