Dr. N. Paul Morin Partners with Wythe County Community Hospital

Wythe County Community Hospital announced today that Wythe Physician Practices and West Ridge Orthopaedic & Surgical Specialists, the orthopaedic practice of Dr. N. Paul Morin, are combining operations to create a new Bone and Joint Center in Wytheville, Virginia.
“Orthopaedic surgery is a growing need in our community, and Dr. Morin’s training and many years of surgical expertise have given him a great breadth of experience in a wide range of procedures that people in our region need,” said Chad Melton, chief executive officer of Wythe County Community Hospital (WCCH). “Our goal is to make Wythe County Community Hospital the number one hospital in the area for orthopedic surgery. We are very excited to partner with Dr. Morin and his team at West Ridge Orthopedic & Surgical Specialists and look forward to what the future has to hold.”
Effective May 1, West Ridge Orthopaedic & Surgical Specialists will change its name to reflect the continuity of care that is now offered throughout the system. The new name will be Bone and Joint Center – Wythe Physician Practices. The location and phone number will remain the same.

Morin is a graduate of University of Colorado School of Medicine, Denver, Colorado. He completed his Fellowship in Reconstructive Orthopaedics at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York, NY. Morin joined the medical staff at WCCH in 1992 and has served on numerous committees, board of trustees and chief of staff positions during his tenure at WCCH.
