Kayla Fisher Receives WCCH Hospital Auxiliary Endowment Scholarship Award

The WCCH Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Endowment in conjunction with the Wytheville Community College Educational Foundation has been awarded to Kayla R. Fisher.
The scholarship provides $500 to employees seeking to improve their skills and advance their education and healthcare career to benefit the patients of Wythe County Community Hospital. The scholarship is available to any employee who has been employed for at least one year and works a minimum of thirty-two hours a week. Awarded funds may be used for tuition, books and school expenses.
The WCCH Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Endowment Committee reviews and awards scholarships once a year. Applicants are eligible to receive a scholarship once a year and application deadline in September of each year.
Recipient Kayla Fisher, works in the Wythe Rehabilitation and Therapy Services department at WCCH. She plans to attend WCC next semester in general studies. “We wish Kayla the most success in her educational endeavor and appreciate her willingness to serve and work in a healthcare institution that benefits our community,” said Carol Bowers, Auxiliary Scholarship Chairman.
