Wythe County Community Hospital Employees Give Back to the Community at Christmas
Wythe County Community Hospital wishes our patients, friends, families, partners and businesses a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
This year, in addition to supporting year-long initiatives, such as Heart Chase, March of Dimes, and Relay for Life, we are also privileged to support the Lutheran’s Children Home, The Community Food Kitchen, Wythe Refuge and Mercy House, Department of Social Services and local families who are suffering financial hardships to ensure they have a good Christmas.
Our mission at Wythe County Community Hospital is to Make Communities Healthier. Our team throughout the year provides high quality patient care, but they also find a way to give back to those who are less fortunate. “It’s a reciprocal relationship”, said Chad Melton, CEO. If we take care of our community, our community is going to take care of us. I’m very proud to call Wythe County my hospital, and for all of our team members who have donated time, and money throughout the year, to provide for those who are in need, especially during this holiday season.”
WCCH employees donated time and gave over $2,300 to help support many families and organizations throughout the community during the holidays.
