WCCH Welcomes Otolaryngologist Robert Strominger, M.D.

Wythe County Community Hospital announced that Robert Strominger, M.D. has joined Wythe Physician Practices in Wytheville. Dr. Strominger is a otolaryngologist who has a focus on cancers of the head and neck, pediatric ear infections, tonsillectomies & adenoidectomies, smell & taste disorders, chronic sinusitis & nasal obstructions, laryngology, voice & swallowing disorders, diseases of the ear, nose & throat and thyroid & sleep apnea surgery. 

 

Dr. Strominger is accepting new patients, and appointments may be made by calling 276-335-2272. Wythe Physician Practices Ear Nose & Throat is located at 360 Virginia Avenue, Suite A in Wytheville. 

About Robert Strominger, M.D.:

Dr. Strominger earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY.   He completed his otolaryngology training at Washington University, St Louis, MO, and then studied voice and swallowing disorders at the National Institutes of Health.  He practices comprehensive pediatric and adult otolaryngology, with a subspecialty interested in laryngology, voice and swallowing disorders.  He is an active member of the general otolaryngology and sleep medicine education committee for the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery writing educational programs and presenting at national meetings.  

Outside of medicine, Dr. Strominger is active in the Snowville Ruritan, and the Coast Guard Auxiliary on Claytor Lake.  He is an avid outdoorsman, cyclist, runner, and equestrian.
