WCCH nurses celebrating National Nurses Week at Wytheville Meeting Center
National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6 to May 12. The week recognizes nurses and the critical role they play in caring for communities across the nation. Each year, Wythe County Community Hospital celebrates this special week to honor the bravery of its nurses, to show appreciation for their incredible contributions to the hospital and to recognize the real-life challenges they face each day.
WCCH is honored to celebrate the outstanding, dependable caregivers who consistently go above and beyond the call of duty to provide compassionate, individualized care for patients and their loved ones throughout their healthcare journey. WCCH's nurses’ clinical expertise and the high-quality care they provide every day have a positive impact not only on patients, but a positive impact on the entire community.
WCCH celebrated its exceptional team of nurses with a Nurse's Night Out held at Wytheville Meeting Center. The event featured recognition, gifts, themed decorations, music and a 360 photo booth.
WCCH Chief Nursing Officer Theresa Dix made homemade scrub top shaped sugar cookies for the nurses.
Thank you to all nurses for their commitment to providing positive patient outcomes. Their hard work and dedication to patient care helps WCCH continue making communities healthier. Happy National Nurses Week!
