Wythe County Community Hospital Welcomes Cardiologist Dr. Aldino Cellini

WYTHEVILLE, VA. -AUG 11, 2026 – Wythe County Community Hospital (WCCH) is pleased to welcome Aldino Cellini, M.D., a board-certified cardiologist, to its medical staff beginning in October 2026. Dr. Cellini brings more than two decades of cardiovascular experience and a broad range of expertise in diagnosing and treating heart disease.

Dr. Cellini specializes in cardiovascular disease and invasive cardiology, providing advanced diagnostic and treatment options for patients with heart and vascular conditions. He performs cardiac catheterizations to assess coronary artery blockages and is experienced in implanting cardiac devices used to diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders and support patients with weakened heart function.

Born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Dr. Cellini later attended the University of South Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree before completing his medical education at Saba University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at West Virginia University and went on to complete a fellowship in Adult Cardiovascular Disease at Marshall University's Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. He also completed an Adult Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Throughout his career, Dr. Cellini has served patients in Florida and West Virginia in both private practice and hospital settings. Most recently, he practiced at Raleigh Cardiac Center in Beckley, West Virginia, where he served as an interventional and cardiac device-implanting cardiologist.

As a cardiologist, Dr. Cellini offers expertise in diagnostic heart catheterization, coronary interventions, cardiac rhythm management devices, pacemaker implantation, echocardiography, stress testing, and other advanced cardiovascular procedures. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and has extensive experience caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions.
