Wythe County Community Hospital Expands Family Medicine and Obstetric Services with Addition of Susan Moore, FNP-BC

WYTHEVILLE, Va. – Families throughout Wythe County will soon have expanded access to family medicine, women's health, and obstetric services thanks to the continued growth of Wythe County Community Hospital's new Family Medicine Obstetrics (FMOB) program.

As part of that commitment, Susan Moore, FNP-BC, has joined Wythe Physician Practices and will provide care alongside Jennifer Davis, MD, MPH, at the newly renovated clinic located at 590 W. Ridge Road, Suite J, Wytheville.

The addition of Moore represents another milestone in WCCH's effort to increase access to healthcare services close to home. Designed to provide comprehensive care for individuals and families throughout every stage of life, the FMOB model combines primary care and obstetric services under one roof, creating greater continuity for patients before, during, and after pregnancy while also serving the broader healthcare needs of the community.

As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, Moore is passionate about helping patients take charge of their health through preventive care, education, and strong provider-patient relationships. She joins the FMOB team at an exciting time as interest in local obstetric and primary care services continues to grow.

By expanding the provider team, WCCH is working to ensure more patients can receive care close to home rather than traveling long distances for routine appointments, pregnancy care, and ongoing health management. The FMOB clinic supports patients across all stages of life, offering services ranging from wellness visits and chronic disease management to prenatal, postpartum, and women's healthcare services.
